Vinous Neal Martin - 01 Dec 20
The 2019 Mazoyères Chambertin Grand Cru is 100% destemmed and matured with 50% new oak. It has an intense floral nose of dark plum and cassis fruit infused with with violet and iris flower aromas; very fine mineralité here. The harmonious palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, superb acidity and poise and a judicious touch of spice toward a finish that fans out beautifully. This is a gorgeous Mazoyères-Chambertin that will age with style. Outstanding.
